My Life series 2017-2023

In 2017 I wrote a graphic memoir, My Life as a White Person, to come to terms with my own responsibility as a white person in a country that puts Black lives at risk every day. My goal was to reexamine and critique my own past. The mixed media and collage work I did in this period was affected by that focus.
