JoAnn Ugolini

JoAnn Ugolini has been exhibiting paintings and collages since 1980, including solo and group shows in Rome and California. She was represented by Barbara Anderson Gallery in Berkeley. She was recently part of a group show at Kempler International Drawing Space in New York and at The DeYoung Museum Open 2023.

As part of a collaborative Artist’s Book, S E C O N D Language, with poet, Kathleen Fraser, she produced a series of collages while working as a visiting artist at the American Academy in Rome. The original book is in the Special Collections at the Beinecke Library (Yale University). Copies are in the Stanford, Brown, and University of Delaware Special Collections. Her work is in numerous private collections. She lives and works in Berkeley, California, and Rome, Italy.
